Boeing
McDonnell Aircraft merged with Boeing in 1997 and now boeing is one of the biggest aircraft manufacturer in the world. Boeing manufactured different kinds of aircraft from smallest to the biggest from passenger plane to freighter. Let's start now identify the different kinds of aircraft model that Boeing manufactured.
To start from the Boeing manufactured the following aircraft smallest to biggest:
Boeing 707
Boeing 727
Boeing 737
Boeing 737 Max
Boeing 747
Boeing 757
Boeing 767
Boeing 777
Boeing 777x
Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Boeing 747-800 intercontinental the latest addition to Boeing 747 Family.
The Boeing 747-800 Inter continental wide-body jet airliner with a configuration of 400- to 500-seat stretched 5.6 m (18.3 ft) from the 747-400 to provide 467 seats in a three-class configuration and a 14,815-km (8,000-nmi) range. Using 787-technology engines, the airplane will be quieter, produce lower emissions, and achieve better fuel economy than any competing jetliner. The 747 Intercontinental will provide nearly equivalent trip costs and 13 percent lower seat-mile costs than the 747-400, plus 26 percent greater cargo volume. This aircraft was built to compete with Airbus A380.
In addition to the Boeing 777 family a new boeing 777x is under a development which has 2 model 777-8x and 777-9x. Based from my research Boeing states that this aircraft has the largest and most-efficient twin engine jet in the world. The 777X will feature new engines, new composite wings, and technologies from the Boeing 787 and develop to compete with Airbus A350.
