This Airline companies operates different kinds of airfcraft and operates to different destination here in the Philippines, Asia and other parts of the world. Let's now name the different airline company in the Philppines.

Philippine Airlines

One of the oldest airline company here in the Phillipines and in asia  is Philippine Airlines as we all known as (PAL). This airline company is more than 70 years in the business and already encountered ups and down and almost shut down because of financial loses and strike from Philippine Airlines Employees Association as known as PALEA.  Philippine Airlines is the official Flag Carrier of the country and has it's own terminal in pasay which is the terminal 2 exclusive only for Philippine Airlines. The airline is a own by the Philippine government but due to lack of budget and to maintain the airline, it was sold to chinese tycoon Lucio Tan in 1993.

In 1997, PAL rebranded itself as "Asia's sunniest airline" to cap its new marketing and advertising thrust. PAL also commenced services to New York City, using the Newark Liberty International Airport via Vancouver. The acquisition of too many aircraft matched with unprofitable routes forced the airline to be financially unstable. The re-fleeting program was about halfway through when the full impact of the 1997 Asian financial crisis struck the airline industry early in 1998. By March 31, 1999, PAL dismantled its Mactan-Cebu International Airport hub. With massive lay-offs also taking place, disputes between the airline’s owners and the employee’s union led to a complete shutdown of PAL's operations on September 23, 1998.

PAL resumed operations on October 7, 1998 after an agreement between PAL employees and top management, reported to be facilitated by Philippine President Joseph Estrada, was reached, with services to 15 domestic points out of Manila. On October 29, the flag carrier resumed international services with flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco, with other international services being restored three weeks later.Asian services resumed on November 11 with flights to Tokyo and Hong Kong. PAL gradually expanded its network over the next two months.

Now Philippine Airlines operates in london after the European Union lift the ban to the Flag Carrier last Novermber 4, 2013. The airline now operates to canada vancouver, and toronto. In 2015 the flag carrier will starts to operate in New York.
